I learned an expensive lesson last year. My foreman drove overa metal post laying in the grass. The front tire kicked it up and it went threw the fuel tank and the air cleaner. $550.00 damage. one of our winter projects is a skid plate. </p>

soft spot

It is one of the few unprotected spots on the underside and the plastic fuel tank could be holed by a sharpe stick.
