Is there a way to identify or tell the date of manufacture date for serial number 46108 (RTV900W) and if the servive bulletin relating to the front drive shaft rattle has been incorperated?
That's a pretty high serial #. I now feel like I have a really old one (ser # is in the 16000 range).

You can look at the front yoke and see if it's the new style. Now, all I need to do is remember the differences. The new one has a bolt perpendicular to the shaft in the yoke where it attaches to the shaft. The old doesn't. That should be an easy way to tell.

That is a very recent unit, since S/N 50000 (the 40,000th unit made) rolled out of the factory this week. Check the yoke/u-joint like already mentioned...that is the easiest way to see if you are good to go.
