Any TYM owners find that these tractors are thirsty buggers. What kind of fuel consumption are you finding.:pat:

Depending on the RPM you are running they can all be rather thirsty.
What is your average RPM operating speed?
I notice a big difference in fuel consumed when I brush hog at 2800 RPM vs when I'm moving trailers or digging dirt. Avg RPM then is 2200, so I save some fuel then.

fuel usage

Yes your correct, I have been bush hogging the last couple of evenings at pto speed and the fuel gage drops pretty quickly compared to normal putsing around doing other stuff. I have been having trouble with my fuel gage. Half full is really full and empty on the guage is around half full in the tank.
I ran out of fuel last night, something I have never done on my Kobota, but luckly it started back up after adding fuel. My dealor has a new gauge and will replace it when it goes in for my 50 hour.

my gauge is wonky - 5 gallons fills the tank according to it, but 2 hours of brush hogging at 2600 RPM (540 PTO speed) uses 1/4 tank or less.
