I am looking at buying a 1998 6810 harvester to do custom work. I am wondering what the average fuel consumption per hour one of these consumes. Or I guess if you are running something similar that would be appreciated. Thanks.

Welcome to Net Tractor Talk Leroy.
My tractor is not near that size so we'll hope someone that can give a good comparison estimate comes along shortly.

Thanks. I just want some rough numbers be it from a similar size combine or tractor. I think this one has a 855 cummins motor in it. I am guessing maybe a STS or a 9600 combine might have one in them. Anyways any input would be great.

The 1998 6810 harvester has a 405 HP minmum rated engine. I can't find any specs on it, but I would expect 16 - 20 gallons per hour in the field depending on conditions. The fuel tank holds about 185 gallons, so figure on refueling every 8 to 10 hours.
