Disk clutch needs re-facing...help!

I have a 6" PTO clutch that needs new facing on the disk. What available material might work, and how could I cement it on? It gets little use, but needs to connect well.

Has all of the material on the original surface worn off or is it just slick and doesn't like to grab? If it is slick and won't grab you can take a die grinder and a clutch surfacer pad to it and put a good burr on it (quiz a local machinist). If the clutch material is completely gone you might get out easier and cheaper to buy a new pto half shaft with a slip clutch.
