I had to change mine on my LX176 a couple of years ago, and it looks somewhat similar, although the guide for the belt is different. Mine broke, so it was already off, but getting it back on was a bit of a trick. I had to remove a guide which was attached to the brake pedal and pulled the idler arm to relieve tension when the brake was on; yours looks different in that regard. Then I had to pry the idler arm against spring pressure in order to get the belt on, and reinstall the guide. It took me a time crawling around on my back to "git 'er done" - be sure to use jack stands.

I took the fender and seat pan off at the same time to thoroughly clean the fins on the transmission, which were badly clogged.
