Gearbox on side of transmision.

Hi all i am new to this forum,I have a mf 135 below the back end of the brake side foot rest is a gear box with a v belt pulley on it,Can any one tell me what it could be for thank you.

First, welcome to the forum.
Second, without seeing it, my first guess would be to run a mower, or some other belt-driven accessory.

Hi and thank you for the welcome, That is the only thing i thought it could be perhaps a mid mounted mower??

That's what I was thinking. I figured by now somebody else would answer that maybe had a better idea...or that had actually owned one.
