I have recently purchased a second hand kubota m7500dt 4wd tractor at a farm auction. I have used it about 6 times and it has now broken down in the paddock. The front right hand side drive hub that connects to the wheel collapsed and destroyed the cast casing. Once i jacked it up and removed the wheel and unbolted the hub i found that the hub had obviously been cracked previously as it had an old fracture and had been covered with some silastic and dirt so as it couldn't be easily detected. I need to find a new or second hand hub casing or even complete drive hub.. or is it possible to have the steel cast casing welded back together?
