How about volunteering to help out by becoming a Forum Leader? Forum Leaders will post something when things are slow. They will search the internet or post a personal experience with their tractor or homestead to make other members laugh, cry or think.
Forum Leaders will get extra permissions and a bigger PM box as bennies for helping out.
We have lots of new members, but still we are slow. Forum Leaders can help solve that by starting 10 threads a week. That comes out to two threads per day for 5 days. Very doable and it would help all of us learn about each other.
When time comes to add a mod or two I will look to the forum leaders first to fill that position, so if you have any interest in helping mod this forum someday, join the forum leaders team now.
