After getting sunburned yesterday (few minute job took 3 hours) I'm planning on a cab with A/C. Or at least a canopy :hide:

Some of my stuff

Here are some pics of some of my addons.

When I bought my Kubota I had the dealer install an ATI quick attach and bought a set of forks.

Next I added a canopy, I don't know if I like the canopy more for keeping me cool and dry or being a great place to mount work lights.

I mounted an assortment of hooks to my bucket , both slip and grab plus a receiver tube to move my trailers.

My best hooks are the ones I mounted on the BH bucket.

I used PVC couplings for a fire extinguisher holder and leftover PVC fencepost for two small utility boxes.

I carry spare chains in a PVC tube that runs through the loader.

I also added a toothbar and a mechanical thumb.

Still haven't found a suitable cup holder.

Hey RK, you really decked yours out. Looks good. Exactly the kind of response I was hoping for.
A fire extinguisher is an excellent idea. :thumb:
The box by the fire extinguisher looks handy .... like a tool or chain carrier.
But what is the PVC with the hook and what looks to be an air valve? At first I thought it might be the chain carrier you referred to but the air valve on it has me stumped.
The thumb on your hoe is way cool. Man would that be handy.

Doc I believe that is the PVC tube that he said he keeps chains in that runs through the loader. I don't think you are seeing an air valve, I think it is a bolt to keep the cap on - that hook sticking out would be a branch grabber.

Excellent upgrades RoadKing...

I enlarged some of the pictures and the PVC cap sure looks like a nut, washer bolt affair. I would imagine that it's bolted to prevent the chain from sloshing around and popping off the cap.

WELCOME to NTT Barnboy,

Very cool mod, and excellent pic's. Have you got one from the operators position? I keep thinking about making my own but bigger projects remain on the burner. Your tilt meter is something Kubota should take notes from.

Look forward to future posts.

Welcome to our tractor forum Barnboy. Great 1st post!!!! I've known I need something better than the original level indicator but never done anything about it.

Wow does your tractor shine. Makes me want to go out and give mine a coat of wax

Barnboy, would you be able to share any more details about your level indicator? Looks useful, might want to add one to my loader :D
Thanks

Here is a print of the level unit i made for the B3030. I attached some more pictures for a little more detail. I hope this might help those who want to get creative. I just found this forum. I often browse Tractorbynet. This forum will be on the top of my list too.

Brian,
Is that you in the photo with the tire or one of your staff servants?

Not Brian. Brian was taking the picture. I believe that was a member of the rock group "ZZ Top" who happened to be passing by Brian's ranch.

Things like that happen all the time out on the Left Coast. :)
