Some of these have been around for a while, but still amaze me.
Mobilus, it's a small world and getting smaller all the time.One of my best friends took a lot of heat over that F-16 in the first picture. He wasn't running the jet, but it was an after Phase engine run and he was in charge of the phase dock. The jet was chocked, and everything appeared good-to-go. Upon engine run-up, the chocks slipped out and the jet did a little pirouette on the ice. Happened at Eielson AFB, just outside of Fairbanks, Alaska. My buddy's retired a few years now, but that is still a sore subject with him.
