It only smoked when reving it up. Running full throttle no smoke. I'll try adding pictures of other 2 pistons, not sure if I mentioned it, but head has a hairline crack too.

If mine goes back together with a turbo, I'll be adding a pyrometer. Just to keep an eye on things. Might have to back off the boost come summertime.

I did the settings as stated in the turbo install instructions. It would run hotter than normal. If travelling uphill on back roads for extended periods of time, it might reach 3/4 mark on gauge. What exhaust temp was I don't know.

So my motor gave up on me,2011 rtv100. I bought it with 50 hours. It now has 2610 hours in 4 years. Been running a turbo kit on it for 3.5 years. !one piston has a hole in it and the other 2 are cracked. It hasnt had alot of cold starts either.using a block heater and a stick on oil pan heater...

Left the filter where it is. The top the snorkel is the old intake. Bought a chunk of rad hose from auto supply store that fit the profile I needed. Now that it's fitted I might bend me a steel one and paint or Chrome it.

Sorry for the late reply. I'll post some pictures of how clean it all looked to me. Swabbing my finger in pipe it seemed clean. It could be the dirty air filter LATiger was talking about. I cleaned it all up and put new filters in.

That's what it is. There should not be any oil there. Could it be coming from any other place than the turbo.

I put a turbo on my 1100 and right from the start I had the issue that are showing in the pictures. The turbo kit manufacturer says it is common for them to do it. The gasket is good and the screws are tight. It actually seems to be getting worse. I've been farming all my life and have. Been...

Ribs were really good.It has to be snowing really hard for it to bother me. It doesn't happen that often that I'm driving when it's snowing. Would rather have them up there for the rest of the year.
