FUEL TANK CAP POURS

Our dealer not only replaced the cap but they also replaced the tank. They told us that some of the tank necks were ovaled and thus causing leaks. Since the replacement we have not had any problems.
There are previous discussions on this subject in this forum. If you do a search you'll be...

    Clatter clatter rattle rattle

    HI,
I would think they are sold as a U-joint assembly. If this is the case however they attach to the shaft and to the front end should almost be like on a car. I really haven't looked at mine, plan to when the sun comes up! Good luck! Keep us posted how you make out as well as the cost...

    RTV running poorly

As Chandler mentioned about the tank and cap, our tank as well as the cap was replaced for the reasons mentioned. Since we had the tank and cap replace we have been good to go! I LOVE THIS SITE!!!

I don't know if there's any big difference between the 902 and 905 and I hope not! Again I will check later and relist! I sure hope that later down the road as...

    Diesel Fuel Additive

I didn't realize you can use Sta-bil in diesels... Never really looked! I use that in my gas engines, will have to check that out!

    Diesel Fuel Additive

    HI THERE!
I forgot the name of what we use but it comes in a white bottle and you can get it at Walmart and Tractor Supply to name a few! The same company also makes a cetane booster that usually sits next to the white bottles and it is in a dark grey colored bottle. If you get the 96 oz...

    Snow plowing with a Gator

Speaking of the shifting issue!! That's the only complaint I have with our RTV! We've tried lubing the cables and so on, tried different techniques for shifting like stepping on brake, (Seems to work the best out of all the tricks), turning the steering wheel back and forth, I think...

    Spark arrester

Don't get me wrong! when we run it in high speed it's floored! We just don't do a lot of heavey trail riding, mainly dirt road type trails.

    Spark arrester

It's kinda hard to clean! I used a couple different wire brushes, a small screw driver and tapping it on the metal bench to knock the soot type flakes out. It should'nt be so hard to clean I think and nothing I see except it being a diesel why there should have been so much buildup...

    Spark arrester

We removed ours and WOW!!! WHAT A DIFFENCE!!! Like Bill stated, I agree that diesels aren't likely to emit sparks but we plan on keeping ours under the seat or somewhere on the machine so we can pop it in if we feel any threat of a fire hazzard. We have less than 50 hours on...

NEW RTV1100 DOESNT GUARANTEE ANY PERFORMANCE GAINS

These are all good points to consider when putting this kind of money out! Another factor I thought about was the power increase in the 1100is sort of eaten up too by running the air conditioner as it does on cars. I'm sure you would notice a power loss as the compressor kicks in! I...
