I have not experienced any speed issues with my 1120D, it can hit 29 and cruise down the road at 25 solid all day. Have had the pedal to the metal from hour 1 so have faith and as others have said keep getting warranty service until the machine runs to advertised speed specifications.
Hi: Am thinking of getting a set of ATV style tires for the 1120D. The OEM tires are 24 inch. It looks as though I could go to a 26 inch tire as there is room in the wheel well. Does a larger diameter tire help performace in the woods?
Here is my experience: I have the Kubota Curtis 60' Homeowmer Snow Blade for my RTV 900. Had it installed on my 2004 which required installation of the heavy duty front suspension components and I plow about 3,000 feet of 12' road way and move about 1,300 yards of snow each 12 inch snowstorm...
Thanks everyone. Well the last couple of times I turned the key off the engine kept running so I had to choke the engine to stop it. Looks like I will be reading the WSM and going over the whole syster soon and I will look into getting the Nutural Safety system fixed. It never dawned on me...
I like running around in my 2005 RTV because it starts in gear, just hop in and go. My newer units have a nutural safety straring mechanism so you have to shift into nutural to start. Anyone know what year the switch was made? I have never had any movement issues when starting the 2005 RTV.
Thanks everyone for your help. Everything checked out okay when I broke open the transfer case and the issue seems to be limited to the u joint. Will replace the u joint and check everything carefully while It is apart. Learned a lot about my machine.
My 2005 RTV with 1800 hours developed front end issues. As the unit was driven it felt as though the front wheels were wobbling. Drained and refilled the transaxle case. After about an hour of use there after a noise developed in the front of the machine. The oil that was just replaced in...
I noticed the same item when I did my install and my 'tie bolt' was on the winch, it was an 1/8" by 3" bolt and my guess is that you would use this bolt as an attachment point for the rope so it wouldn't want to uncurl during any type of 'future winch service'.
Here is a photo of the winch kit that i got for my 1120D It appears the from the kubota build site that the winches for the new machines are no longer Warn winches but are Kubota authorized winches made off shore. I imagine this winch set up is designed for the new RTV models. You may need to...
Here are my observations after a year of use. At first I did not have a wiper but have now ordered one, if you are going to operate the unit in the rain you will need it. I have not needed it with solid percipitation. The unit is much more comfortable to operate with temps below 50 degrees...
Here are some photos of my 1140cxp with the 'factory' installed Curtis windshield and metal roof. Hope this helps. For my needs this set up is best although there are a few things to consider. This set up is heavy. You may want to ask about the total weight of the package. I can not...
Water in Power Steering Fluid
I mistakenly identified the power steering resivour as part of the coolant system when I did my first coolant flush and change. Filled it right up with water from the hose with a nozzle. When I realized how much I just screwed things up i tried to drain the...
