    overheating!

    I had the temperature sensor go bad on mine last year. The fan wouldn't come on and it did over heat and when it does an alarm goes off. It did not boil over or smoke or anything even through the alarm was going off.

    Call them up! Be proactive. Some dealers are lazy, some are just no good. And in my case the ownership of the dealership has changed hands 3 times in 3 years. At least now it's with Messicks and I know they will take care of things.

    aurthuritis, I have a feeling that this guy called the hubs ball joints and it's probably the same thing that you all heard about ages ago and I am just finding out. Kubota has sent me notices prior to this, like when they put the rubber flap over the engine under the bed, so I don't know why...

    Nothing was said about the hubs and the person calling from Messicks was just the rental equipment manager who was given the task of locating the machine I bought. He told me someone from the service department would be contacting me in the next few weeks.

    32 hours since hose changes, not one single leak of antifreeze! Those hoses are bad from the start. Not even a minor leak, antifreeze level has stayed exactly the same.     I went and looked and unfortunately I didn't record the hours when I traded the 900 in. But they gave me 6 grand for it. The Kawasaki before that I sent to auction because it had over 9000 hours on it and it still brought $650 with 4 flat tires and missing parts. 2 years and 8 months on this...

    Oh, and some of that remember is because I wanted different clamps and all new hoses on every hose on that machine! There is not one single piece of original rubber on the whole thing. Now let's see if it leaks!

    there's the difference, I do the two year. Air filters are cheap in comparison to what can happen.

    I don't have the manual right now. I am using my Deere dealership to do the work and I let them have my shop manual and the owners manual with the list in it.
