    L3400/2800 Service Bulletin for 3PH

Finding ACTUAL useful information on the 'OTHER' site is getting riduculous. I'm looking for information regarding the 3ph valve replacement for the L2800/3400 3PH. Some of the valves resulted in a terribly jerky upward motion and Kubota and their dealers in MOST cases having been replacing...

    JD LX288 Hood Top

:yum: No WAY! I've already eaten a ton of crow on this one! Long story short, using the kubota to lift the machine into a pickup bed. Always, repeat ALWAYS use the toothbar to lift, NOT the rear facing top and center mounted bucket hook. Curling the bucket will pull the load right into the...

    JD LX288 Hood Top

Anyone have a lead on a new OR used deck hood for a JD LX288, I'd appreciate a note. Dealer retail is $160 for the top part and the eBay entries, after shipping, are even MORE!!!! eBay schmeeBay .... Don't ask what happens when a Markham toothbar and good JD green plastic decide to lock...

    My Maine Heaven

Yup, I've taken all those pics. Maine has seen precious little snow lately, except for this winter. This winter has seen about 6 good nor'easters dumping more than a foot each time.

New England Snow (have ya had enough)

Mid Coastal Maine reporting in: had 18 inches last week, a foot yesterday, and a foot tommorrow is coming. I have a raised seam metal roof on my historic cape ... this means it sheds snow easily ... I have 4 foot drifts from the roof on the south side of my cape. Snow Snow Snow ... spent 1.5...

    Replacement Seats for BX Models

New B Series Seat I too got the new seat for my B7800. I waited several months and now that I have it I believe it was worth the 25 dollars, but it is definetly not the most comfortable tractors seat I've sat in.

    B7800 with Estate Wagon

FruFru ... this step is the step found on the Kubota L2800 models. It fits perfectly but a homemade bracket was needed for installation. I've said it many times: I don't understand why Kubota Corp does not put a step in this machine. It's over 24 inches to the deck ... Here are some pics...

    Homebrewed Rock Picker

I had a 1 foot bald rock showing in a paddock last year. I had hired an excavator (JD 35D) to do some work and it was on site. I asked him if he could take out that rock. 20 minutes later, he had dug continusly and this thing turned out to be the size of a small car. Solution, dig out the...

    Homebrewed Rock Picker

That was my first comment also, but apparently it is all the way to the side so the spring has some extra surface area (side of the bucket) and most importantly, it enables one to see what you are doing exactly. You would not see didly if it was centered into the bucket. Incidently, this...

    Homebrewed Rock Picker

K, sorry I don't have pics yet. I'll post a drawing. My neighbor has 17 acres of contracted blueberries growing. Being this is Coastal Maine, he's got issues with subterranean igneous (ROCKS!) .. starting at basketball size and getting bigger. He learned that the industrious folks in this...
