Stoney, I did my own filter changeout for the 50-hr and had no problem with either filter. Of course I use my old one-size-fits-all strap type filter removal device and that thing allows you to use practically an unlimited amout of torque to loosen the filter. It couples to a 1/2" drive ratchet...

You might want to see the thread concerning adjusting the idle speed downward, as I did on my '05 RTV. Otherwise, can I interest you in a good set of earmuffs?
