@Ohio_Pawpaw_Grower, do you have this installed on your unit? I am curious about the self-tapping screws vs the bolts that you would drill through the actual bed. Does the bumper rely on the self tapping screws for support?
I was wondering the same thing for the rear bumper I saw for the XG.
The best bet on interchangeability may be user experience.
I was able to order a bed extension intended for XG850 and mount it on my X1100.
Thanks for the info. Maybe you are correct about illuminated switches not being supported as I don’t think it is an install error. When I installed these rocker switches on my RTVX900 they did light up, that’s why I was confused about the x1100C.
The strobe light flashes amber. We use it to increase the visibility of the RTV when used on the roadway outside of property lines, and also when patrolling the property especially wooded areas. It increases awareness of your presence. Makes the vehicle stand out in the dark/rain more than just...
I posted a new thread regarding the illuminated rocker switch for the strobe not actually lighting up inside the cab.
But I can update the OP here about the strobe install:
I ordered the Kubota Strobe Kit for the 1100c. The kit includes instructions. First you affix the strobe light to the...
Just received strobe light kit, front, and rear work lights. I installed the strobe light kit today as it is plug and play. I installed it on the center mount on the top rear of the cab.
The Kubota oem rocker switch is not illuminating. Should it be? My rocker switches on the X900 all...
The x1100C mirrors (part number V5059) are indeed functional yet of poor design/quality. The ball and socket pivots on the mirrors are metal on plastic and kept tight by 2 little screws. Also the installation of the mirror to the arms is not well thought out at all.
I cannot see the passenger...
Interested in seeing any recall pics of the solution.
My RTV-X900 and RTV-500 both collect a lot of debris over engine. I am as well surprise that the leaves/hay haven't ignited yet.
Thanks
I started off with a RTV-x900 which I decided I didn't want to share haha. Since then I purchased a RTV-500 for light duty use which now has 150 hours.
I just actually spent some time riding it and the steering seems off. Almost like there is too much play and too much range of motion to get...
Update:
I had dealer service come out to look at the sagging unit. The mechanic stated that there are no issues with my RTV500 and that he has seen this on many other units.
Still awkward that the unit leans on the driver's side, but I am not sure of how this can be corrected.
Thanks all!
Great suggestion on checking the shock adjustments. Both rear shocks are set at 3, the default level. I will also consult the dealer, just to see what they have to say. I'll report back here, as I am not sure what else to tinker with on the RTV.
I just recently purchased a new RTV500. The unit now has about 40 hours on it. Smooth and quiet operation, much less noise than my RTV-X900 and very easy to maneuver inside the horse stables.
I noticed from the beginning that the unit was leaning towards the driver's side, but assumed it was on...
ovrszd, great find! this will come in handy for my RTV unit.
I am attempting to navigate the site in search of a L3301 and RTV500 service manual, any pointers?
Thanks again!
