    Spark Arrestor and new member

My modified spark arrestor has been on for 110 hours, more power and a little more noise. I will pull it out when the outside temperature goes up and inspect. no muffler cracks as it is supported like the original. Mark

    Leaking remote outlets on JD4240.

Ok, I have this problem with my Kubota products. What I have found is that if you put a quick disconnect fitting with pipe plug in the end it stops the problem. IE no hose connected just a plug in the fitting. Mark

    windsheild

Just purchased a glass windscreen and orange metal roof from the dealer. $1200 for the lot. These are manufactured by Curtis, Installation was about 45 minutes. Very happy with the setup. Only problem now is the dust is pulled in through the back screen, guess I need a window in back now.

    new bedrails

Peanut, I love these, like a picture of them mounted. I never liked the idea of using wood on the sides, expanded metal looks great and should function well. One day I would like to make a whole new bed using square tubing, diamond plate, etc. I use my machine to do work and would like to...

    Winch Mounting Plate

I was in the process of purchasing new longer bolts but I live in an area that only has Wally World. There is so much beef in this thing (1/2" material) that the clevis is on that I think you could hang the RTV from a tree and it would not fail. You can figure that each bolt is about 1/2 inch...

    Winch Mounting Plate

Thanks for the ideas. Yes I am using the Amsteel rope instead of cable. I used to have a cable driven CAT scraper and am tired of wire rope in the hands. I am interested to see how this synthetic rope works out.

    Winch Mounting Plate

Finally finished my winch mounting plate. This design uses the three 12mm threaded holes on the bumper and two under the winch. No welding required to the bumper, it just slides into position and then install the bolts. Need to hook up the electrical and mount the remote plug and switch. Any...

    A REAL TEST

I was out looking at my property's logging roads and noticed that over the winter I have had a lot of erosion around several of my culverts. I live in the UP of Michigan and we have a big logging industry up here (BEST HARD MAPLE IN THE WORLD). I thought, what the hell, I pick up some of the...

Surplus Center is all on-line, sometimes it takes several weeks to get things from them as spring is a busy time. Farmers order from them and there is always a rush in the spring to get machines fixed for the growing season. Take a look at their web site. I have purchase many times for my...
