    Relief Valve test Ports

Alfred, I remember it being mentioned here, but could be hard to find the post. A machinist could identify the thread if you removed one and gave him a chance to measure it and he could make you an adapter. Found this; http://www.nettractortalk.com/forums/showpost.php?p=111860&postcount=46

DANGER FAULT in towable ATV backhoe

When replacing trailer bearings, it's always a good idea to add a grease nipple to the hub somewhere so you can add grease on a regular yearly basis. Or use one of those spring pressure hub caps that have a grease nipple in the end. Simple little machine, but with allot of uses I bet.

Tire size on new X series RTVs

I agree Mark, going wider was my solution and did so on all four with the same width, proved to be great in snow, hard packed that is, at staying on top of it. Put the rims from a BF tractor, rears, with MudLites. Tires rubbed the front springs and had to grind off the front mud guard mounts...

newbie with 2012 kubota rtv900xt frame question

Walter you are talking about the new XT versions with independent suspension at all 4 corners. Old versions had the De Dion rear suspension. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/De_Dion_tube Big change in suspension alone, I suspect you will have lots of issues trying to marry the old frame to the...

New Rear U Joints Needed-- Again

Collie, was that a plastic or other gasket material I saw figure 8A? Looks like plastic. I agree a little sealant on that joint would be a good thing. Great instructions; http://www.superatv.com/instructions/IN-RA-8-23-R.pdf This pdf should be in a Drive Shaft Replacement post as a must...

    Charging problem......

Hi Peanut, Had not ever heard that about CCA (cold crank amperage) having any effect on the charging system. All batteries are typically 12 volt, of course some are 6 volts or 24 volts, but in most of our vehicles it's 12 volts. The capacity is measured in CCA which I understood as how much it...

    wiring diaghram

From the RTV1100 2009 Service Manual. Hi Guys, From the old manual it was R/W (red/white) for the radio feed and B (black) for ground. The R/W wire looks like a common power feed for other items as well so would be good for your radio if you can find one in the location where you will install...

Things to watch out for on used 2013 1100

My 2009 1100 had a spring return on the Hand Throttle so I used a clothespin on the bare shaft to hold it open. Never used it much other than to check wheel movement when in neutral and trying to get the HST rod adjusted. If you are having him do the Neutral Adjustment, I would include checking...

    Heavy front springs, finally!

My 1100 2009 model had the factory HD springs already installed, a necessity with the heavy cab. Huge difference when I had put the cab on my 900 2008 with and without the HD springs. Nice to hear the new X models have adjustments, long over due. IMHO, if you are running a cab or plow...

    Heavy front springs, finally!

When I changed the springs on a 2008 900, I used 1" wide rachet straps, with two on the coils on opposite sides. Compressed the old ones then removed the retainer. Compressing the new ones in the same locations, straps on the coils, so I could remove the straps once the coils were installed...

    Knuckle case/Front axle oil change

IMHO, 80/90 is great in warmer climates and UDT/SUDT is better for areas that get below 0 degrees as it lubricates better at low temps. SUDT would be my choice for Canada. And 80/90 for Texas. In between you decide.

    Another Coolant Leak Part Two

Ha Ha Ha, those darn X models, everything is different. Anyway, in the owners manual it probablys says Low is the cold engine mark and High the high temp mark. Cornerstone, did you drive both the old version? Notice a huge difference in ride over rough ground?
