John Deere 4430

I have a 4430 John Deere that i just purchased. The engine oil cooler is leaking pretty bad around the oil tubes where the tubes go into the angle piece bolted to the block. It appears to be 4 orings 2 on top and 2 on bottom of the tubes. Can I just take that angled piece off and pull tubes out or do I have to unbolt the cooler?

The cooler and angled piece both need to come off together. Then you can separate the tubes and replace orings.

Before removing the oil cooler, drain the coolant from the engine, remove the cooler. the gaskets are usually a little tough to scrape.
