hello there,
glad i found the forum,
we own a 06 rtv 900 with a manual bed.
as my wife is using it mostly around the yard and to clean up horse poop it would be nice to have hydraulic lift.
i found a pto pump for the tranny , now we just need the rest.
if somebody has parts for that project he wants to sell, let me know.
hydraulic tank, cylinder , valve and so on.

thx Thomas

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new (to you) RTV.

I don't have any parts but this may help.

I think this is the kit you need. Kubota part # V4203 or V4204. Please confirm but I think the V4203 is what's needed for just the dump bed. The V4204 has 3 functions instead of 2.

Make sure you're sitting down when you see the price of OEM parts if you need to buy new. The complete kit runs about $2,000.

If you do get it, here's a good page which outlines the installation process.

Messick's has the parts diagram and list.

PS. Search the RTV forum section for the word "dump". There's several threads and as I recall, there's a few that show aftermarket solutions that are a lot cheaper and easier to install. E.g. An electric over hydraulic solution.

thanks for the help and the warm welcome

i thought maybe somebody dismantles one and has stuff to sell,
new Kubota parts are a bit pricey for me.
the other option is a trip to princess auto (Canada) and see what they have.
how big is the hydraulic tank? I guess i just weld one.
Thx Thomas

That's wonderful !!!!!! If you get a chance, tell some details so others without the oem can have the courage to do this . I take it you found a parted out machine? :tiphat: bordercollie

If you want to sell that tranny, post a thread on it. Members are looking for them once in awhile.
