Mechanical ability determines whether it is a big deal to change rings. Cylinder condition, piston condition, etc could make costs go up or down.

Where you live can affect your selling price....

They are very simply made, easy to work on. Very reliable but I have no idea about the condition of the tractor in question. If it is indeed in "good" condition then you should get years of service....
