    Homemade Round bale Feeder

Here is a recent project. I had a terrible year for hay, equiptment issues, weather, work schedule, etc. So I have been buying some 4x4 wrapped rounds for my two steers & peeling the hay off & feeding it out morning & night, with a bit of waste. I decided to try making a cradle style feeder...

    My New Antique Massey

I bought another tractor Saturday. A Massey Harris 22. It runs pretty well and has hydraulics and a 3pth. It should be handy during hay season. I bought a rain cap for the exhaust and a toplink at TSC today, then worked it a little this evening.

    Metal Detectors are Valuable

My el-cheapo Harbor Freight metal detector has saved me twice now. Once, by finding a drive bearing and nut for my walk behind snowblower and now, by finding a nut that holds my chain saw bar on. I was just cutting along when the chain came off. I looked and the remaining nut was real loose and...

I Bought an Old Rusty Piece of Junk Yesterday

I think it's not going to need much to get it making bales. It is rusty, but it seems to work. We turned it through by hand and watched the action. It needs to have the pto shaft fixed, the guy's father bent it, then snapped it in half bending it back. I'm hoping I can find new tube and weld the...

I finally stopped lurking and joined.

Hello to all of you from me, shvl73, AKA Torin. Like some of you, I was a frequent visitor to another tractor site :puke1: until I was banned Sunday. I see familiar names and hope to hang out here and enjoy the camaraderie. Thanks for letting me join! TW
