grumble - KK 6' brush hog

I wish I knew why the nut is loosening like it is. I tightened it down as far as it would go and the lock washer was pushed down like it should be. With the welds already cracking, that is just a shame and with everything else that is going wrong is a pain. Sounds like you got a lemon Erik, I'll...

    Woe is me!!!

I too am curious if the ruse worked in your favor. Oh and I ran the numbers and I'm willing to bet their shop rater per hour is $65 and that puts the the $260 bill at 4 hours. Alot of times the mechanics at those shops can get paid anywhere from $10 to $15 an hour depending on specialty and...

    New from WV

Yeah, it didn't have a back seat but was supposed to have a cardboard/masonite shelving area for salesmen to put their magazines and brochures in. I measured my 440 and it is basically a 30"L x 30"W. With a little trimming to the inner fenders I can make it work. Thanks for the sites to look at.

    New from WV

Welcome to the forum Wedge, I'm sure you would love my retirement project car. It is a 1952 Dodge Wayfarer Business Coupe. The plan is to build a new frame that will be a tubular race inspired frame, Lincoln Versailles Ford 9" out back, '77 Volare front subframe, and a '67 440 shoehorned between...

    The Horrors of Craigslist

I'm not interested in it, just showing you a craigslist special where the seller is cracked out. Erik explained to me the proper break in procedure for these machines, I'd rather buy a machine that I don't have to worry about metal shavings being in the fluids from the factory.

    The Horrors of Craigslist

Another forum I am on has a thread like this and I thought it might be a fun way of showing others on here what kind of crazy stuff we see on craigslist. I'll start it off. I came across this tonight and asked Erik what he thought...yeah, the price seems high. What do you guys think, hell of a...

    Doing a little field work

Thanks, that would be the Farmall 806D with a period correct model 37 disc behind it. Both were my grandad's when he was alive and farming. That disc is amazing and it worked so well in the river bottom ground. We even used his 494A four row planter to plant the sunflower seeds. Dad pulled that...

    Doing a little field work

Thanks, she needs some cleaning up and rewiring done to her. I cannot run the lights on her without draining the batteries. I plan on going through her with a fine toothed comb and replacing what is either missing or broken. After a new coat of paint, she'll be just as good as new.

    Bucket Earrings

I like that, great idea there. Whenever I get around to building my loader unless I pick up one cheap, I will have to remember that.

    Tractor stuck :(

The next door neighbor got his tractor and helped pull it out, they spent more time laughing about it than actually getting the tractor and pulling his out.

    Doing a little field work

Here are some pictures from last year, the field is 3 acres and we used it to plant some sunflowers in.

    Tractor stuck :(

I've been meaning to post this picture of my Dad getting his 560 stuck in what will eventually be his pond. He was trying to spread some clay that had been dug up when he had his lagoon emptied.

    Tractor stuck :(

At least he has some consistency, even if he doesn't mean to hit the frame.

    2007 3010 Trans Mule 4x4

I'd have to agree that those front tires look so worn down for only 193 hours. I can only guess that the rear tires are brand new. I wonder if the dealership got it in on a trade or was for personal use. Either way I wonder what it was used for day in, day out...especially for it to have that...

Challenger tractors in Bulgaria - pictures

When I say my car forum, I mean the one I visit. I wish I owned it, but that is not the case. I'm just a long time member of fullthrottlev6.com, it started out as a GM v6 only site and for the most part is but we have branched out to Ford v6 as well. The site tried to included Chrysler/Dodge...

    New Sprayer for the Kioti

That is really nice, I can see how the extra capacity will help especially going from a 60 gallon to a 300 gallon.
