i use a 5' behind a 18-20 hp & run it at only fast idle will chew up everything & leave it ground & smooth ...trick is to go slow (creep) & let it work without forcing ...will do gras without ripping first

have a kelly 600 on 1700 ford...digs 5.5' deep pto pump runs at idle & can dig all around & lift tractor off ground & move...use additional struts from top link area to drawbar bracket & lock3pt lever down while using....no subframe & pto pump does not involve tractor hydraulic
