    Hand Throttle Install on x900

Sorry for the late reply, here's the price, just check shipping. Will be about half the price from Kubota, although you have to fabricate a bracket and a piece to connect to the linkage. https://www.easternmarine.com/buyers-3100-series-vernier-adjustable-locking-cc-vcgt3100x06

    Hand Throttle Install on x900

I like the one on my '10 RTV, I ordered one like this and fabricated a couple brackets to mount it. There is a knock out by the dump lever for the control and it works just like the factory throttle at quite a savings. Push center button and pull out, can turn to fine tune. I used this one...

    RTV900 Rear Fender extensions

I think those fenders would really help the looks of the RTV, but I haven't found any that are wide enough, they all seem to be 8" wide and that won't cover the tires. Still watching for a solution. I'd bet that Peanut could take 4 of them and rip them down and weld up a pair that would be wide...

Here's a "Talk About Anything" thread

Herman, glad to see you on this side of the hip replacement, I had my rt hip replaced about 3 yrs ago and I never give it a thought anymore, completely pain free hip and works as well as it did 30 yrs ago. Knees are another story, I had both knees replaced Sept. '14 and it took about 7 months...

    Hand Throttle Advantage

I can sure see the advantage to the hand throttle on the RTV, but I have a question before considering one. If I install the hand throttle, can I use the foot pedal as normal or do I have to use the hand throttle only after install?

    slipping

Glad you found the problem, thanks for letting us know.

    slipping

The differential is either open or locked when the pedal is held down with your left foot, it's not a limited slip. I don't see how the spark arrestor could affect the machine in the way you describe, it would be the same if in 2wd or 4wd.

    slipping

It's just weird that putting it in 4wd makes it work fine.

    slipping

In 4wd it seems to work fine... That statement says to me that it's not the brakes or low pressure. Check the rear, where the axle comes through the hub. If it will run in 2wd with the differential lock engaged, then there's just one side of the axle slipping in the hub.

    slipping

Check the rear axle nuts, there was bulletin on the torque for these, I think 140 Ft Lb. There has been some reports of the hub slipping on the axle and stripping the splines. Hope this helps.

    Another Coolant Leak

Big trucks solve the problem with hose connections that leak, caused by temperature change, by using these constant tension hose clamps. They compensate for the expansion and contraction. http://www.hoseclampkings.com/Cat-17-1-18/constant-tension-clamps.htm

RTV-900 Cab Mirrors New Style Cab

I got those Bad Dawg mirrors and use them on my 900 without a cab and like them without the extensions. I can see well and they don't stick out as far, no problem adjusting them.

    Leaky valve stems

I haven't had mine leak yet, but when I replace them, I'll go with these unless someone knows a reason not to. http://www.amazon.com/Gorilla-Automotive-VS402C-Inner-Mount/dp/B000CMDATY/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1415973131&sr=8-3&keywords=metal+valve+stem
