Just changed all lub in Kubota

I spent all weekend changing the motor oil, trans fluid, hydralic fluid and all filters. Also changed the antifreeze, and front axle, and Knuckle oil. I still need to grease it . Will do that another day, Temp is 96 but the humidity is about 100%. Had a good rain though. Boy the cost of all that...

Starting the Kubota in cold weather

When I was in the mountains 2 weeks ago we had some cold nights. 10 Degrees or so almost every morning. Thin air at 10,000 feet also. When I went to start the Kubota I would turn on the glow plugs for about 30 seconde then crank the motor. Tried 2 times with no luck. On the 3rd try it started...

First time driving in the snow

All I can say is WOW. We only had 2" of snow but I drove all over the farm,80 acres in 2WD . Nothing else would do that. I had to give it something steeper so I drove up the hill the grandkids use for sledding. It went up 1/2 way in 2WD, and spun out. Steped on the rear end lock and spun both...

Could not find any 1" by 3" OD tubing so I made some. I will keep you all informed as this project continues. Will try to post a picture and...

    u Joints RTV 1100

I read on another forum that Kubota has increased the torque on the rear axels to 140 foot lbs. This was because there were some that had broken the splines on the rear hubes. This was from a Kubota mechanic. This result was two notches tighter on the castel nut. Anyway there was...

    first mod to 1100

I made a new mount for the rear view mirror. When I went to the neighbors I could not see if there was a car behind me until they were on my bumper, unless I turned around. I need to see more than 30 feet behind. I made a new mount from 1 1/2 by 1/4 stainless 12 inches long. I know this sounds...
