Doesn't make it easier but provides a secure way of storing the hydraulic hoses when not in use. Cheerio_Kid

Looking for feedback on snow plows

Yes... I went to the dealer very well informed because of this forum and the people on this forum. Doc, his moderators, and all the nice member's posts is an Online University in itself.

Looking for feedback on snow plows

I just took my Quick Hitch off this morning for the first time. I hand wrenched it and it took me about a half hour. Should go faster the next time. The part is actually called the Hydraulic Removal Kit (V4304) On the RTV1100 it mounts underneath on the differential guard. It is a bracket that...

    2011 RTV Muffler

I bet you are right Peanut. I spent some time this afternoon looking at the muffler mount on my RTV1100 and I can see that the muffler itself looks mounted sturdy enough but that tailpipe definitely could use some additional support. Maybe BorderCollie remembers what her old one had for support.

Looking for feedback on snow plows

The Kubota V4291 is what I have also JP1100. I really like it. It is made by Kanlan Attachments for Kubota. I think it ends up being so pricey cause it is fully hydraulic (and has a Kubota decal on it). I first saw one in action being used by the snow removal contractor where I used to work...

    2011 RTV Muffler

I wonder why they changed the mounting method from the way it was on the old style muffler?

Yah.. I modified. But I know you would never do something like that.

    2011 RTV Muffler

$4-500...Ouch That is a sizable piece of tailpipe Kubota chose to attach to the muffler with just the 2 bolts. Seems like it could be shortened to reduce the flexing stress on the mount. Hmmm... Now that I think about it... I took the hack saw to my spark arrestor screen to eliminate the...

    2011 RTV Muffler

Good thing you caught the problem before the tailpipe totally broke off and got lost BorderCollie. I wonder if there would be a way of reinforcing the new muffler so it could not fatigue and break again? I am curious what a new muffler will cost when it is replacement time. The noise...

Very impressive installation BCZoom. It is evident you put a lot of thought into the panel. I hope I can create things as nice as I have seen in this forum. Which model GoLight do you have and do you remember the price?

Sounds like it works well. Do you have a pic of it installed? I am kinda tall and want to protect the leg room if I can. I do have a JBL MPS 1000 10" powered sub but I think putting that thing anywhere in the cab won't work. I wonder if one like yours would fit in the tray under the seat. It...

Thanks for the compliments on the plow BC.:letitsnow: I think the issue is the speakers at this time. Good thought thou BC. The stock speakers may just need more power. The radio I installed is a Pioneer DEH64BT from Walmart. I am also a little concerned about the headliner having little...

    Good Resource and Great People

Thanks Oldhat, I will for sure be talking with Peanut about purchasing his spiffy Stick Stoppers. I have been trying to find a good price on the GoLight (the one like Two Guns has). I was busy this morning installing an aftermarket Pioneer radio. It sounds ok but just as been stated in a...

Here are some pics taken the day the Kubota was picked up. One pic includes the mechanic who installed all the options.I am glad they installed them because the mechanics said he logged 28 hours prepping it. The auxiliary oil cooler and the V Plow took the most time. The last pic is me first...

    Good Resource and Great People

Picked up a new RTV1100 on Wednesday. Most of my research for the Kubota was done right here on this forum. This forum and it's peoples experience was invaluable and very helpful in making my decision easier. Two Guns, Border Collie, BcZoom Peanut, D and D Farm (just to mention a few) and so many...
