    e-RTV

Wow! That’s crazy! Specially the $80,000.00 starting price tag. I’m sure Kubota could do a 50 hp, enclosed model, with a 50 mile range for $20,000.00. Electric would be perfect for a work buggy and all the costs involved in making a race car would be avoided

    e-RTV

I see that Polaris has an e-ranger and so far it’s gotten rather good reviews. With the advances in e-vehicles I’m sure an RTV would do very well. Torque is what the diesel is all about and an electric motor makes full torque starting at 0 rpm. Trains have been running on electricity for...

    Stolen RTV's

As a retired LEO of 30 years I can say that this video is spot on the money. Very good advice!

    e-RTV

Here's a thought, or maybe the start of a new rumor. I'd be the first in line for a new e-RTV 1100 equivalent! Give me something with 4 to 5 hours operating range and the comfort of the 1100. Electric over hydraulics with a PTO. Plug in at the barn at night. It's all I'd ever need. Any...

Slinging mud on X1100 with tracks

I'm strongly considering the same setup for my 1100 and was wondering if you've noticed any other negatives with your tracks. Guess I'm mostly concerned with added wear and tear on the RTV itself. I've read that CV boots and joints don't last very long because of ice build up. Thanks

    Color Change

Couldn't put my finger on it at first, but my doors are black with a little triangle of orange on the panels around the door handles. Thought yours looked even more "great pumpkin"ish than mine.

    Color Change

In a way the leaves did change colours, to orange.

    Color Change

Just in time for Halloween! Looks very good. Less likely to get shot by some nearsighted city dweller enjoying a few beer while he learns how to "hunt".

New tool to maintain the RTV

What is it about Canadians with mustang convertibles, RTVs and lifts? Must be great taste or snow crazy.

New tool to maintain the RTV

Just finished the garage. It's now nice enough for the shiny new lift. Last step was the tile work behind the stove. All set for winter now. Eager to see what type of temperature fluctuations I see. Right now it stays within a couple degrees inside when there is a 20 degree variation...

Bucket seats - ideas and pictures

I like the idea, but it would restrict my ability to shift around. I sometimes spend 9 hours a day in the RTV cutting grass and I need the room to change position as often as I can. Guess in a squirmer. Bucket seats in the mustang are a must for performance driving and keeping me from flying...

Extended fire season RTV1100 vs Ranger 6X6

I agree Tribute, We use a float pickup for the fire trucks and they work great, but I'm looking for a permanent install and it has to be below the ice level in winter so I need the pickup to be at least 2 feet below the lowest surface level. Was thinking of something like this highly accurate...

Extended fire season RTV1100 vs Ranger 6X6

Good questions Bc, 1 RTV being the Benz. For sure! 2, pumps require a hard suction line to prevent the line from colapsing in on itself and such line is about $4.00 a foot. So the short line is the expensive one and the long, 50' soft line is what delivers the water to the target. I'm...
