    3 point quick hitch

I have a 2004 Kubota 900 RTV and I was wondering if anyone has installed a 3 point hitch on the back of their Kubota RTV? And what's involved?

    Turbo for X900?

I bought a turbo from Turbo Kits. It came with detailed instruction for the install, fuel enrichment & trans adjustment. I haven't done the install yet - too cold (I don't have a heated workshop yet). I'll keep you posted on how the install goes.

    Turbo for X900?

I put a throttle kit (got it from Kubota) on my 04 900 - bolts right on. There's a spot for it right by the dump control. I don't remember what the cost was.

Here's a "Talk About Anything" thread

I talked with the service dept at Kubota dealer about the fuel pump pressure for the mechanical pump that supplies the injector pump. The reason being I'd like to install a small electric fuel pump at the tank outlet. They said there's no spec for the pressure. We got to talking about fuel & he...

temp Guage reading on new 2014 rtv x's

    RTV900 FUEL FILTER

Fitch, I have a 04 900 rtv with only 375 hrs (I know the hrs are correct since I purchased it new). I have not noticed any problems like you have encountered with the additional filter. It's my understanding that mechanical fuel pumps push a lot better than they suck. I don't know how many hrs...

    RTV900 FUEL FILTER

Tribute, Thanks for the filter info & the link - I'm going to order one. If u google "radius zip ties" there's an entry for a supplier on ebay (cbal5766) & he has them for sale $14.99 for a 100. The ties are made specifically for fuel lines/ hoses. The ties are used a lot in marine applications...

    RTV900 FUEL FILTER

Tribute100, If the mounting holes on the filter don't match the holes in the frame you could take a piece of 1/2 inch aluminum plate & drill holes to match the frame. Then drill & tap 2 holes to match the filter bracket. That's what I did to mount the Amsoil by-pass oil filter to the inside of...

    RTV900 FUEL FILTER

For what its worth. I talked w/ an Amsoil consultant/ dealer & he states that the sierra filter can be used w/ diesel fuel. So, I went to NAPA & they cross-referenced the sierra # to their NAPA Gold 3226 fuel/ water separator. NAPA called the WIX Tech Dept (WIX makes NAPA's filters) & asked...

    RTV900 FUEL FILTER

After reading the reply from Keifer I contacted Seastar Solutions (a distributor for Seirra products). I spoke w/ their tech support & they stated that the Seirra spin on fuel filters are for gas only. And they do not have any spin on canister for diesel that fits that bracket. Yet in their web...

    Fuel filter

Collie, I too hated to change the factory filter & lose my temper cause it's hard to get at & no room. So, I eliminated it & replaced it with a marine spin-on that also helps in eliminating water. There was a post titled "RPV 900 Fuel Filter" dated 3-26-13. I posted some info & pics if u r...

    RTV1140 Line-X

When I bought my 04 900rtv the dealer sent it out & had the inside of dump box & the cab floor sprayed. It has held up real well. It isn't line-x but it works. I'd recommend it on any machine. I like the look of the line-x on the front bumper. Mine just raps over the top of the box & it's gray...

Here's a "Talk About Anything" thread

rtv exhaust problems Hey Guys (that includes everyone), Haven't been here for awhile. Anyway, I have a 04 rtv 900 w/ less than 500 hrs. My machine has a LOT of vibration, which I assume is normal since everything is bolted solid. The only problem I have encountered due to vibration is the...

    Block heater

I painted it prior to install & taped off the element first. I would think that paint on the element would flake off in the coolant - the small amount probably wouldn't cause any problems. But, I'd tape it anyway - don't forget to remove the tape before the install (lol).

    Thanksgiving RTV Story

I'm very particular who I lend my stuff out to. Sometimes u never get it back & if u do it's not in the same shape as when it left. Some stuff never get lent out - 4 instant my stihl chain saw. I loaned to a "friend" once - it came back & it would only cut curves - so he bent the bar & I had to...

    Block heater

Two Guns, I, like you, like to keep things clean, at least on the inside. It's hard to keep things clean on the outside here in the winter as I don't have a heated area to power wash the outside & underside. I'm a AMSOIL dealer - just 4 myself & friends (I don't have the time to make it a...

    Block heater

Okay, If I can upload the pics, they will show u the install. In the 1st photo u can see the lower radiator hose heater - the flash was blocked by the fan blade -but u get the idea. Any questions - just ask.

    Block heater

JP110, The one on the left is the correct one. I install that one on my 04 900 - it goes in the frost plug at the rear of the head. The dealer should have supplied an install sheet w/ the part. I still have mine - of course drain the coolant. remove the frost plug & clean the opening. I painted...
