Can someone explain to me why a hand throttle for an X-series is almost $100 more than one for a non X-Series? Messicks lists X-Series hand throttle for $170 while non X is a mere $75. Is there that much of a drastic design change?

Being the cheapo that I am, I certainly wasn't gonna fork over $400 for a roof. Instead, I bought a 4x8 sheet of Diamond Plate for $135 and made my own. Now to get a strip of 1/4" coated polycarbonate cut to make a quick detach windshield.
