Glad to hear you got this fixed. I’m having trouble with my 06 rtv 900. It’s in the shop now squch plates replaced but only help a little. Now they telling me it needs a new hydraulic charge pump which is 29 hours labor $3300.00 cost. So I know the feeling.

Aurthuritis thanks for the heads up on changing the oil....I'll try to stay ahead of my scheduling and maybe the RTV life will be a little more friendlier to me.

Yes I bought this 06 RTV for $400. Actually it's been a very good machine the problem with the transmission was my fault due to water damage. I should have changed the oil directly after the Great Flood of S/E Louisiana 2016

Hopefully everything works out and yes if things start to go bad with the new tranny it will be at there front door first thing in the morning. I have to stay positive...no more money!

I had a long talk with the machanic and he assured me he will do his best to look for a easy repair and not just say “well looks like you need a new tranny”. He did say a new tranny is only $6000 ��. As of now I hadn’t heard anything from them so guess I’ll give em a call.
