It's put back together but the shop stripped a rocker arm shaft stud. It'sordered and I'm waiting.

Four years. No warrantee. It's been a real workhorse! I miss it already!!

Needs rings, bearings, gaskets, possibly pistons. Had topped up the oil, then worked it for two days moving a burn pile. The next day it wouldn't start. Low compression. I blamed an inadequate air filtration system, but it was almost out of oil! Don't know how that happened in tow days...

It's gravity feed and there are no air leaks. Thanks though.

I'm confused. Suction side of the system on a diesel? Air intake side doesn't have leaks - it's an open door!

I loosened an injector line and turned the engine over with throttle closed - no fuel came out. I turned it over with throttle open - fuel came out. I'm running out of possible answers.

How would I identify the ignitor bottle if I have one? I have no bottles with removable caps. I do have a plastic filter-looking thing on top of my engine running from the injectors back to the injector pump, but it has no cap.

Mine's pretty high, but my tractor doesn't use any at all...:wink:
