Trouble shooting Ford 1520

Hi folks,
I need help troubleshooting my Ford 1520. It was working like a champ one day and the next day it is deader than a door nail. The motor/starter do nothing when I turn the ignition key. No click, no nothing. I have full battery power and even tried to jump start it. I checked two electrical safety switches and they seem to be ok. Any ideas before I send it to the shop for a beating?

Do dash lights come on when you turn the key and get nothing?

Or it might be the starter. I've seen some starters that are going bad and a whack on the side of them will get them to turn over and start. All this would do is verify that the starter is the issue.

You checked all wire connections while checking the safeties right?

I would remove the battery and have it checked or try another known to be good battery. I've had batteries to show they had enough volts but they wouldn't turn the starter. If your battery checks out good then check the ignition switch. If that is good then is there a relay for the starter?

switch

sounds like the ignition switch, not too bad to take out then do a few diagnostics with a voltmeter
