This is a 1926 silent film (on video) of a tractor-snow-machine invented by Henry Ford, shown here driving it. Watch the whole thing. I saw that video before, that thing can go anywhere, great pulling power also. I wonder why the idea never caught on.

It never caught on because of the rear drive. If it came down over something abruptly it would break them. Metal breaks real easy when its cold.
