Default BX2230

Thinking about putting the Yamaha Terrapro out to stud. Parts getting hard to find etc etc. Have a chance to buy a 05 BX2230 with 60'' deck. Unit looks good has 324 hours on it.

Guy is asking 6500.00 for it.

Been out of the tractor market since I got my L3400HST

Is 6500 a decent price for this model.

Sure sounds like a deal. With only 300+ hours on it and you are getting it close to 1/2 of it's original price. It has so much life still in it that it seems like a true bargain. A hard to find one at that. Nearly new ones don't appear on the market that often.
I am assuming it is 4 wheel drive. I don't believe they made a 2 wd one but if they did I am not up on the price of those at all. Still might be a good deal but not as good as if it were a 4 wd.

60 acre is on a distinguished road

Hi all, new to the site because I need some advise. I have been trying to buy a tractor to take care of my property. I need something to mow about 6 acres including a fairly steep one acre hill. I also want a loader to help with choirs. The problem comes in when I want a backhoe included that is bigger than someone might use in a sandbox. I have 2 streams on my property and need the backhoe to help maintain it. I have looked at many utility tractors and all see to fall short or get up in the $28k range. I can't be the only person looking for this type of machine. Any advise is appreacited!! Thanks!
