compact tractor

will not move. was fine when parked several warm months ago, it has been freezing for weeks, I added fluid still no transmission or hydro related movement,warmed engine states fine
?????

So, if I read things right, your tractor is JD compact, hydrostatic tranny, and fluid levels are all good. It starts right up but won't move. Do the other hydraulics work for 3PH and FEL? How about the PTO?

And assuming you gave the tractor plenty of time to warm up, it's a hydraulic issue. Hopefully a clogged filter ..but it could be the hydro pump.

Maybe ice in the hydraulic system if water or condensation got in there and froze.

something frozen now warmer everything works
If it were mine I would check for water in the hydraulic fluid.
If water got in there and froze a chuck of ice could block the system.
If you let the tractor sit a few days (somewhere its above freezing temps), most of the water (if any) should settle to the bottom.
Crack the transmission fluid drain plug loose and see if any water comes out.
Drain any water and put the plug back in.
