There's a farm auction this coming Sat. One of the listed items is this 1952 McCormick SW-6. I talked to the seller and he said it would run, so I'll have to go to the sale and see how it goes.

Lot of other stuff, fuel tanks, several old horse drawn implements, etc.

If I did buy it, it would have to be at a really low ball price. I would clean it up, do a little fixin', and then resell it to someone who will restore it. Problem is I really don't have that much extra time to do it justice as a complete restore project. I have seem some really well done restores on these old McCormick's, and always liked them. Good thing about this one is the tires are in fair shape and it suposidly runs.

I'm kinda intrested in the old fuel tanks and maybe one of the horse drawn implements. (Can I convert it into a potato digger?) :eek:

I just like to go to these auctions for the fun of it more than anything.
