I know some of you have been picking and canning for a while now, but because of my late start just started picking some things yesterday.

We had new potatoes and canned green beans last night. Hard to beat!

I did manage to plant another 50 potato starts yesterday (in the mud), and have about 50 more to plant today.

Looks good Nica. :thumb:
Did that standing water take out any of your plants?

Up here all I've had so far has been rhubarb and strawberries. Not that I'm complaining :)
Give it another month and I'll have cucumbers coming out my ears, with beans and tomatoes to boot.

Me too..We've had two rhubarb pies, and I usually eat the strawberries before they get to the house. One of my favorites.

My cucumbers and cantaloupe are doing pretty good. About another month.

I dodged the rain to take these. The cantaloupes and corn really need weeded.:hide:

We picked our first tomatoes today, about 2-3 weeks behind our normal schedule. Should be eating them daily for quite a while now.
