I bought this in February. Needed some love. I just finished last week. I kinda went nuts with it. We have a cabin up in Maine so this’ll be fun up there. Here’s before and after

FullDraw, That is a mighty fine looking rig you have, great job! What was broken in the before picture, was it one of the original aluminum hub housings? Another question, did you make the lift kit yourself, and how much of a lift is that? Again nice work, looks great.
Thanks,
Pete

Hi Pete I bought the 2” lift online and installed myself. The factory ground clearance is 10” and the tracks added another 6” so now I’m sitting at 18”. She should clear plenty of trails now. Yeah both aluminum axle housings were busted I got all the new parts under a recall. Saved me $650 bucks. Not a bad install. Scratch built all the racks. Thanks Tom

Tom, Great job on the racks, they look like they will serve the purpose well. I had the same problem with ground clearance. I changed to 27" tires and made a 2" lift to get 14" of ground clearance, still have to watch at a few places, but I was constantly dragging before. I have a 2014 model as well, I'm waiting for the recall to fix the bed gradually creeping up when loaded heavy at the rear. That is the only complaint that I have with my unit, they are real work horses.
Thanks,
Pete

Yeah I drilled through the brush guard and used wing nuts for easy access to under the hood, and the rear of the rack just attaches through the plastic hood. The basket was from one of the big incubators on my turkey farm I had to cut and weld it a little bit smaller and the actual Rack itself is a roof rack from a 96 Ford Explorer which I cut and shortened. Overall the thing looks pretty factory and is very useful
