Default Ford 3000 leaking transmission oil

My 3000 transmission is leaking oil from drain hole at bottom of tractor. Tractor has about 2000 original hours and has an 8 speed live PTO transmission. The transmission performs well in all phases of operation including the PTO, except it is leaking oil. I have to block the clutch down when not in use to keep it from sticking to the flywheel. Apparently the input shaft seal job should be all that is required. The problem I have is making sure I have the right seal to do the job and knowing how much diasembling is required to change the seal. Information I have is not too clear on the subject. Can anyone help out with this.
