Thanks for the real world test. Curious what size pipe did you use? Bob

My buddy made the pipe for my blade with 1" pipe. I wondered if a larger pipe would be smoother?

I think i am going to stick with the pipe and carry my homemade 5" diameter skid pads. they have 1/2" allthread on them so i can bolt and unbolt them in about 3 to 5 minutes to do the widow's 1/4 mile drive

I asked because I think my neighbor used 1 1/2 or 2" pipe but I can't check as he's gone for a while.

if you look at mine it does not get into that angle brace its just short of it.Even in you got into it by 1/8 of an inch it would not effect anything.Im a month in now with some nasty conditions and have had no issues and the added clearance is great.
