Help with part id

Guys, great forum you got here! Needing some help identifying this valve/part on my 1120d. It’s located on the passenger side of the transmission, just above the oil filters and directly below the temp sensor. It’s leaking pretty good. Thanks for the help in advance!

Thanks for the awesome link...never seen that site before! Looks like it’s the charge valve assembly that’s leaking. I’m assuming it’s not supposed to...do you think replacing the assembly will solve my issues or is something else to blame?

that is the relief valve that controls how hard the machine comes to a stop. shoult be an o ring or copper washer behind it. some call it a coast valve. there is a stem behind that aluminum cover that is threaded into the larger nut shaped part. if someone has adjusted the stem it could cause a leak also. if it is an oring just go down to parts store and get a new one.
