1955 ford 860

this tractor has a front end loader on it .so how do i know if there is enough hydraulic fluid in it and can you over fill it /

Welcome to the forum!

Please get a 2nd opinion but here's what I'm thinking. Flip up your seat while standing on the left side of the tractor. On the transmission housing, there's a large nut and washer. That's where you'll want to fill.

I believe you'll also want to use Ford 134 fluid. There's a letter after that but I don't recall the details.

If it is like my 851and it is an add on. It should have a separate pump and resavore than the hydrolic system for the 3 point lift. My front loader is a Superior and the fluid is in the frame.

power steering and front end loader

I hoked up a Jackson power steering unit to my ford 860 It has a front end pump which controlls the steering and loader . promblem is the power steering works great put the loader works real slow if I turn the steering wheel it will raise a litte faster but not much any sugestions on what I would need to do to fix this
