We have a 2755 John deer that leaks oil out around the arms and we need to repair . This tractor has sat for 6 years since my dad passed and figure the seals or o rings have flattened out dont know for sure but my brother wants to use it and it needs fixed first. Can anyone advise me how to change these seals or orings. I do have tools and have worked on small garden tractors but not on larger tractors. Thanks for any help

First, lower the hitch and drain all the oil. Then remove the retaining rings#7 second diagram. Then remove pin #6 and collar #5. Rmove any shim washers and then the draft arms. Once both draft arms are off, the Shaft #18 first diagram can be slid out. The seal is #20 that fits in a groove in bushing #19. If shaft and bushings are worn, they should be replaced along with the seals. Reassemble in reverse order and refill with oil.
