Bad American

YES, I'M A BAD AMERICAN
I Am the Liberal-Progressives Worst Nightmare. I am an American I believe the money I make belongs to me and my family, not some Liberal governmental functionary be it Democratic or Republican!
I'm in touch with my feelings and I like it that way!
I think owning a gun doesn't make you a killer; it makes you a smart American.
I think being a minority does not make you noble or victimized, and does not entitle you to anything.
I believe that if you are selling me a Big Mac, do it in English.
I believe everyone has a right to pray to his or her God when and where they want to.
My heroes are John Wayne, Babe Ruth, Roy Rogers, and whoever canceled Jerry Springer.
I don't hate the rich. I don't pity the poor.
I know wrestling is fake and I don't waste my time watching or arguing about it.
I've never owned a slave, or was a slave, I haven't burned any witches or been persecuted by the Turks and neither have you! So, shut up already.
I believe if you don't like the way things are here, go back to where you came from and change your own country! This is AMERICA.
If you were born here and don't like it you are free to move to any Socialist country that will have you.
I want to know which church is it exactly where the Reverend Jesse Jackson preaches, where he gets his money, and why he is always part of the problem and not the solution. Can I get an AMEN on that one?
I think the cops have every right to shoot your sorry rear if you're running from them..
I also think they have the right to pull you over if you're breaking the law, regardless of what color you are.
And, no, I don't mind having my face shown on my drivers license. I think it's good..... And I'm proud that 'God' is written on my money. we need God back in our Country.
I think if you are too stupid to know how a ballot works, I don't want you deciding who should be running the most powerful nation in the world for the next four years.
I dislike those people standing in the intersections trying to sell me stuff or trying to guilt me into making 'donations' to their cause.
I believe that it doesn't take a village to raise a child, it takes two parents.
I believe 'illegal' is illegal no matter what the lawyers think.
I believe the American flag should be the only one allowed in AMERICA!

If this makes me a BAD American, then yes, I'm a BAD American.

I agree 100%

The original bad American dailog was supposedly attributed to George Carlin according to web lore... Wish I'd have thought of it!

Count me in as a BAD American.

We need our country back!

This one brings tears to my eyes as well- I've used it in several church skits. Google Red Sklelton pledge of allegiance to hear Red speaking.

RED SKELTON: "I remember this one teacher. To me, he was the greatest teacher, a real sage of my time. He had such wisdom. We were all reciting the Pledge Of Allegiance and he walked over. Mr. Lasswell was his name... He said": "I've been listening to you boys and girls recite the Pledge Of Allegiance all semester and it seems as though it is becoming monotonous to you. If I may, may I recite it and try to explain to you the meaning of each word:
I

Me; an individual; a committee of one.
Pledge

Dedicate all of my worldly goods to give without self-pity.
Allegiance

My love and my devotion.
To the Flag

Our standard; Old Glory ; a symbol of Freedom; wherever she waves there is respect, because your loyalty has given her a dignity that shouts, Freedom is everybody's job.
of the United

That means that we have all come together.
States

Individual communities that have united into forty-eight great states. Forty-eight individual communities with pride and dignity and purpose. All divided with imaginary boundaries, yet united to a common purpose, and that is love for country.
And to the Republic

Republic -- a state in which sovereign power is invested in representatives chosen by the people to govern. And government is the people; and it's from the people to the leaders, not from the leaders to the people.
For which it stands

One Nation

One Nation -- meaning, so blessed by God.
Indivisible

Incapable of being divided.
With Liberty

Which is Freedom; the right of power to live one's own life, without threats, fear, or some sort of retaliation.
And Justice

The principle, or quality, of dealing fairly with others.
For All

For All -- which means, boys and girls, it's as much your country as it is mine. And now, boys and girls, let me hear you recite the Pledge of Allegiance:
I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic, for which it stands; one nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
Since I was a small boy, two states have been added to our country, and two words have been added to the Pledge of Allegiance: Under God. Wouldn't it be a pity if someone said that is a prayer, and that would be eliminated from schools, too?"

I DITTO THAT AND HELL YEAH I'M HOLLERING!

P.S. IF EVERYONE CONCERNED HOLLERED AT THE SAME TIME, THERE'S A CHANCE WE COULD GET IT BACK. YOU WANNA?

I'm up for it, Mud! I really like to see the honest-to-God patriotism of the vast majority of us here at NTT! Y'all are really a bunch of good folks. I wish more good folks stood up for what is right.

It may be changing, the average Joe's attitude, that is. This afternoon, I stopped in at the fire station to vote, it appeared that twice the number voted today than four years ago. Maybe folks are starting to care more?

Tonight, we had a county fire meeting at our station, and it was amazing how many folks showed up. All coming together at the most basic level for the common good. Things like this help restore my faith in people.
