I have one new tractor battery and one new car battery that is the same size.

Can I use the car Battery?

If yes would it make any difference if it is on the ground side or the positive side?

Or should I buy one more tractor battery?

thanks in advance ☺

Hmmm. I was always told to use identical batteries as it relates to age, CCA, reserve... Without doing so, the weak battery will drag the strong battery down until they're equal.

If the specs are the same you could probably get away with it.

:thumb: from what I remember the above is right. Well pertaining to boats anyway but it should be no different than tractors.

Your advice coincides with what I've been told. Today I'm going to buy one more tractor battery. Thanks very much ☺
