Backhoe Levers Need Lubrication

My backhoe levers are in need of lubrication as they squeak and are more resistant to movement than they should be. The manual only mentions lubrication of the zerks, but does have an illustration of the control area.

I would think that it would just be a matter of taking off the cover and lubricating under the boot. Does anyone have any advice?
Thanks,

That's what I did when I had a floppy lever, just beware when you take the cover off that you pay attention. If there are some valve spool devices loose you'll not want to lose them. That's what I did when some of them came loose.
