For years. We used these. Along with a straight razor.
If you have not, your fathers did.

Being sick of paying high prices. Just a few weeks ago. Told Mrs. Two Guns that
this is wrong having to pay these prices for refillable units. Was on the blink of finding my old straight razor or buying me another, and I found this.
Yep, I purchased this. And it is just like they used to be years ago. Just simple, good clean razor.
Tripped across mine at Wal-Mart. Same price as advertised. Don't matter.
I am not paying no damn 18.00 for refills again.
Brought back some good clean shaves >>>>

Brings back memories for me, first ones I ever used. My dad use to take the blade out and sharpen it inside a glass, it would last forever. I am glad you brought this up, I am fed up with them changing razors then you can,t get blades to fit your razor anymore. They have been playing us way too long especially Gillette.

Have you ever noticed that a barber never puts his razor under water. Always
wiping the blade off with a towel.
Do you know why ?

Have you ever noticed, that bathroom cabinets DON'T have a slot anymore for
one to discard his razors.

Still got a couple that style around here. Gonna have to dig 'em out.

Forgot what a real smooth shave was like anymore. These "razor companies"
has brainwashed people to thinking the two and three blades are so much better.
They have just priced themeselves out as far as I'm concerned !!!!

The older blades are so much better. AND CHEAPER TOO !!!!

DO YOU REMEMBER THIS COMMERCIAL ?

When I saw razor I just assumed it was a Polaris.:yum::yum::yum:

Just kidding I remember my dad taking the blade out of his and letting me shave when I was just a kid standing at the sink watching and waiting my turn just so I could be like dear old dad!!

What great memories!!! Now I hate to shave lol!!! :yum::yum:

Here's me after not shaving for a week. Man I look like somebody I just can't place it.

That one made me laugh. I remember my dad being upset when I was about five or six years old and broke his "Razor sharpening glass" in the bathroom. He always said the other glasses he tried never worked as well as his old one.~~~~~~~~~~

I quit shaving a couple years after getting married. A beard is much easier than shaving daily. I also get to hold some food in it for between-meal snacks.

When I was a teenager I had a bushy head of hair and couldn't wait for my 'beard' to finally expand from a few curly's on the chin..Today I have a bushy beard and a head like Kojac.....What happened?:cuss:

You grew too tall for your hair. Sounds like it settled in about 6" shorter than you did.

All the wisdom I've gleaned since joining this forum. I ponder the dreadful state of ignorance I'd still be mired in had I nor acquired my RTV and found this forum. From u-joints to sore knee joints....bald tires to bald heads...Snow blades to Razor Blades...The wisdom of the universe is all right here...

That reminds me of an old set of Burma-Shave signs:

Mid this vale
of toil and sin
your head grows bald
but not your chin!
